Community based recreation and leisure activates promote self-help and social skills for participants, while providing respite for families and caregivers. A wide range of diverse activities and events are fully staffed and include regular ongoing activities, special events and a host of Special Olympic training programs.

All participants must become eligible to participate through the Intake Unit of The Arc/Morris Chapter by calling 973.970.9326 ext. 326.

Eligibility

The Recreation Program is fee for service, with participants beginning at age 6 paying a fee for each event or program they attend. Select individuals may also access family support funds through the state Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) in order to participate.
